The Project

Call of the Void is an original album of soundscapes built by turning images taken by astronomical telescopes into sound.Visitors to the Festival of the Mind's Futurecade heard the album on a limited edition 12" vinyl record and took part in the citizen science project Kilonova Seekers.Produced by Tommy Wilson

Just like 'The Voyager Message' record NASA launched into space in 1977 (currently over 15bn miles from Earth) we've pressed the album to vinyl for high-fidelity, immersive listening in person.
